Junior Suites, 5 Honeymoon rooms and 3 Master Bedrooms.
Rooms are old-time decor with Colonial tiles, iron
headboards, and hand woven bedspreads. Some have
balconies over-viewing the lovely Peon Contreras Theater;
all rooms have central A/C and double soundproof windows,
T.V., Cable, mini-bar, recently remodeled baths.
Non-smoking rooms, laundry and baby-sitting services are
available upon request.
All
rates are based on double occupancy, up to two adults and 2
children under 12 years of age are allowed in parents room
at no extra charge. Additional adult person in any
room cost USD $ 17 plus tax with a maximum occupancy of four
adults per room at any time. It is important to
remember that the hotel's cancelation policies require at
least three day notice prior to reduction of confirmed stay
dates, otherwise the hotel charges 50% of the total amount
of days reserved and confirmed. We suggest two or
three days stay in Merida if you plan to visit other sites
around Yucatan or a longer stay if you have family and
friends to visit.

Monday at 9 PM you
can enjoy a typical Colonial Vaqueria Dance at City Hall (Calle
62 on Main Plaza) this dances are worth your time, with
typical Jarana Music, and lovely hand embroider "ternos" or
huipiles, Yucatan's Colonial Mestiza gala dresses.
Tuesday at 8:30 PM the
Santiago Park (Calle 72 and 59) offers romantic Musical
Remembrances with Yucatan's Big Bands from the 40's Era.
Local food vendors gather around the plaza offering homemade
tamales, sopas the lima, panuchos and other regional snacks.
Wednesday at 9 PM visit
the Olimpo Cultural Center where exhibitions and fine art
performances of local artists are played: concerts, old art
movies, art exhibits, planetarium shows, etc.
Thursday at 9 PM the
Santa Lucia Park (Calle 60 and 55) offers its fabulous
Yucatan's Serenade; regional Trova Music played by guitar
groups as well as the city Orchestra Band, this is one of
the nicest regular free cultural activities in Merida so try
not to miss it.
Friday at 9 PM La Ermita
Plaza (Calle 70 and 77) offers another Musical Romantic
Night in Merida's oldest Colonial neighborhood built in
1762. Dance with music from the Belle Époque Latin Era
and enjoy the charm of this great part of town.
Saturday at 8 PM starts the Mexican Night at
Paseo Montejo (Calle 47). This is the most lively and
exciting evening of the free cultural activities Merida has
to offer, so try not to miss it. Local and National
singers, live bands, mariachi bands, and other great musical
bands gather to offer dancing in the streets and a great
Mexican Fiesta Party for all. You will find local
art-craft stands and food vendors as well.
Sunday from 10 AM is
Merida en Domingo, Main Plaza and the streets near the hotel
(Calle 60 and 55) are the background for a huge city
outdoors handcraft day! Local vendors showcase all
their artcrafts and there is live music, regional food
vendors, biking, and lots of fun.
