     So many people only visit Chichen Itza on a day tour from Cancun.  This is truly a shame because by the time you actually arrive from Cancun, you have lost the better part of the day; not to mention that now you have only a few hours, the hottest of the day, to visit the archaeological zone with throngs of people!  If you really want to get the most out of your visit to Chichen Itza, it really pays to stay in the region for at least two nights.

     A couple of nights in the middle of the jungle? Away from the beach?  This is usually something that few people imagine as an option while planning their trip to the Mayan Riviera.  However, if you are one of the many travelers who look for a more holistic experience while abroad, it is exactly the right thing to do!  To better prepare for your trip, we at Chichen Services have compiled a few of the things we feel are a must  to experience all Chichen Itza has to offer: its mystical rituals, traditional foods, and geological wonders.
